Description Overview of basic principles of neuropharmacology and contemporary issues in clinical psychopharmacology; introduces principles of pharmacokinetics and dynamics, drug-receptor pharmacology, neuroanalytical methodology, and chemical neuroanatomy of the brain; culminates with overviews of contemporary drug treatment strategies for a range of cognitive, pathological, and neurological disorders, including substance abuse.
