Description Basic concepts of ANOVA, partitioning of the sums of squares, fixed effects models, t- and F-tests, multiple comparison procedures, random effect models, variance component models, analysis of covariance and introduction to MANOVA (SAS or comparable statistical packages used extensively to analyze different types of designs). PREREQUISITE(S): 18 credit hours in Ethnomusicology or Southern Regional Music.
