PUBH 7503 - Health Systems Decision-Making

Cross listing (Same as COMM 7345-COMM 8345) Description This course addresses decision-making processes associated with managing risk in healthcare organizations in multiple healthcare settings. Students will examine and evaluate the quality of risk management decisions for program-level decisions as well as for addressing enterprise-wide risks. Students will learn to structure challenging decision problems using critical thinking, to gather information, develop alternatives based upon organizational values, mission, and objectives, and determine the best course of action.
