AAAS 3000 - Hip Hop and Sociology**

Description: This course utilizes Hip-Hop culture to bridge sociological concepts to everyday life. Students will use artifacts such as rap music to learn theory and sociological methods for analyzing Hip-Hop artifacts for sociology concepts. The course will involve the discussion of various theoretical frameworks and sociological methodologies and their applications to Hip-Hop phenomena.
