This course focuses on the theoretical framework and empirical setting of managerial accounting research as relevant to the decision-making processes of management. Topics covered in this course include research on the application of knowledge and experience in accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, decision support, risk assessment and management, internal control and earnings management.
