SOCI 6312 - Intermediate Social Statistics Credit Hours: 3 Description: This course builds on foundational statistics to develop students’ skills in descriptive and multivariate analysis in the context of social research. Topics include data summarization, correlation, regression, and techniques for analyzing relationships among multiple variables. Students will learn to interpret statistical results, evaluate the assumptions underlying analytic methods, and apply these tools to real-world sociological data using one or more types of data analysis software. Up to 6 credit hours.
