Credit Hours: 3
Description: This course explores the emerging field of AI-assisted software development, focusing on how modern AI tools-especially large language models (LLMs) and generative systems-are transforming the way software is designed, written, debugged, and maintained. Students will gain both theoretical insights and practical experience with AI-enhanced coding tools. Emphasis will be placed on prompt engineering, collaborative software development, AI-assisted testing, and the role of agentic AI systems in end-to-end development. The course also critically examines ethical, legal, and practical implications of using AI in software engineering.
