UNIV 6740 - Student Athlete Career Transition & Planning** Credit Hours: 3 Description: Critical thinking is reflective thinking based in reasoning that allows one to decide what to do or believe (Ennis, 1993). We must acknowledge that this is a vague definition that requires elaboration (Ennis, 1993). Critical thinking allows learners to question power dynamics and conventional assumptions inside and outside the workplace. Critical thinking also allows for more reflective leadership development, including observation, problem-solving, and effective decision-making (Snyder & Snyder, 2008). This course seeks to provide some of this elaboration (Ennis, 1993). Prerequisite(s): N/A Corequisite(s): N/A Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): N/A Cross-listing(s) N/A
