PSYC 4034 - Children Soc Relationships

(3) Examines children’s social relationships, particularly peer relationships; social cognitive processing; developmental implications of group status and dyadic friendships; behavioral interactions among peers; impact of reputation on peer group status; gender differences in peer relations; parent management of peer activities; and analyses of conflict and of aggressors and their victims. PREREQUISITE: successful completion of a course in child psychology and permission of instructor.
