THEA 3515 - Costume Construction Credit Hours: (3) Former: (Was 2513) Description: Introductory course in the construction or patterning of theatrical garments, with topic rotating on alternating years. Construction-focused class may focus on cutting, pattern alterations, machine and hand sewing techniques, and creating complete garments for stage. Pattern-focused class may focus on the fundamentals of draping, flat patterning, and translating a 2D theatrical rendering to a realized garment pattern. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours. PREREQUISITE: THEA 2511, THEA 3602, or permission of instructor. PREREQUISITE: THEA 2511 , THEA 3602 , or permission of instructor.
