PHYS 4620 - Device Physics and Microfabric

Credit Hours: (3)
Description: Semiconductor devices and microfabrication; crystal properties and growth of semiconductors, energy bands and charge carriers, p-n junction, field-effect transistors, bipolar transistors, optoelectronic devices, power devices, power devices, and fundamentals of microfabrication, including vacuum technology and thin film deposition techniques. PREREQUISITE: PHYS 3211 , PHYS 3010 , PHYS 3011 .
