MECH 4341 - Intro to Additive Manufacturing

Credit Hours: (3) Former: (MECH 4401)
Description: Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a process of joining materials to make objects from 3D model data, usually layer upon layer, as opposed to subtractive manufacturing methodologies. This course offers a thorough introduction to the basics, principles, and applications of commercially available additive manufacturing techniques. PREREQUISITE: MECH 2320  or CIVL 3121
