PLAN 4206 - Housing Planning and Policy Credit Hours: (3) Description: Explores U.S. and international housing policy, finance, and planning specifically from a social, racial, and economic justice perspective. Traces the history of housing, starting with the invention of property, rent and ownership and continuing through city-building, redlining, suburbanization. Considers policy and planning tools for improving the equity and affordability of housing. This course involves substantial group projects.
