Description: This course is taught only at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. University of Memphis residence credit is given through affiliation with the Laboratory. Survey and discussion of taxonomy, distribution, trophic relationships, reproductive strategies and adaptation of tidal marsh animals; emphasis on those occurring in northern Gulf marshes. PREREQUISITE: 16 hours of biology and junior standing, or permission of instructor.
