Credit Hours: (3) Description: Exploration of the European Renaissance and Reformation, including civic and Christian humanism; republicanism and despotism; the print revolution; the creation of new Protestant churches and the reform of the Roman Catholic Church; and the Reformation’s impact on the development of early modern states and societies. NOTE: Only one of HIST 4380 and HIST 3880 may be used to satisfy degree requirements.
