Description: Expansion of select topics from CHEM 3310 including in-depth analysis of structure and reactivity in organic compounds, synthetically important transformations, introduction to synthetic methods for preparing small molecules, and methods of identification. Lecture focused on problem solving. Three lecture hours per week. PREREQUISITE: CHEM 3310 or permission of instructor.
