HPRM 2031 - Exploring Hospitality Careers

Description: The course builds on skills gained in the pre-requisite, HPRM 2030 (Foundations of Professional Development), and is designed to assist students with exploring careers and developing skills necessary to make meaningful career decisions and being successful at the workplace. The critical factors to consider before selecting a suitable career and being effective at work will be discussed. The student will become familiar with the core competencies required in the hospitality industry by completing the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) ManageFirst® Human Resources Management & Supervision program.
