CHEM 4901 - Chemical Research I

Description: Introduction to basic research; collaboration with faculty sponsor on problem of mutual interest in any chemical subdiscipline; effective literature search, laboratory techniques, experimental design, preparation and revision of formal scientific paper. One seminar hour per week. PREREQUISITE: CHEM 3111 or CHEM 3211 or CHEM 3310 with at least C-, permission of instructor and complete prospectus in consultation with faculty sponsor.
