Credit Hours: (3) Description: Examination of works by black authors starting with the Colonial Enlightenment, continuing with slave narratives, and ending with the rise of the black novel. PREREQUISITE: ENGL 1010, 1020, and 2201 or 2202 with a “C-” or better, or their equivalent.
