(3) Theoretical and applied inorganic chemistry; Group Theory; chemical nomenclature; periodic trends; acid/base and redox reactions and electrochemistry; coordination chemistry; bonding theories; fundamental concepts of crystal field theory and modern inorganic chemistry; inorganic energetics, kinetics, thermodynamics.
