(3) Safety skills and techniques of immediate and temporary care in the event of injury or sudden illness. Includes necessary training and skill for CPR certification. Successful completion qualifies the student for First Aid certificate endorsed by the American Red Cross. This course may be taken to improve the grade for one, but not both, of the former courses.
