Requirements

Completion of 18 semester hours, consisting of 6 hours from among the following courses (2 courses):

• ANTH 1200 - Cultural Anthropology ** Credit Hours: (3)
• ESCI 1301 - Survey of World Regions Credit Hours: (3)
• INTL 1101 - Introduction to International and Global Studies Credit Hours: (3)
• UNHP 1101 - Humanities/Global Challenge Credit Hours: (3)
• UNHP 1102 - Social Scien/Global Challenge Credit Hours: (3)
• POLS 1301 - Intro to Comparative Politics ** Credit Hours: (3)
• POLS 1501 - International Relations** Credit Hours: (3)
• One upper division course in modern foreign languages** Credit Hours: (3)

• and

• 12 hours upper division hours (4 courses) from courses that count toward the International and Global Studies, (B.A.)  major

  Note: A maximum of six hours from either study abroad or internship credits may be used towards fulfilling the requirements of the IS major (subject to approval by the IS director).
