The Youth Development concentration prepares students to work with children and youth in non-instructional positions and roles. The skills and competencies that students develop will afford them opportunities to work in youth-serving non-profit organizations as well as to serve as family and community specialists, youth mentors, behavioral specialists, and paraprofessionals (to name a few) in formal and informal educational settings.
