Interdisciplinary Programs
|
|
The College of Arts and Sciences, through its Interdisciplinary Programs, offers opportunities to study and gain experience in some of today’s most interesting fields: African & African American Studies, International & Global Studies, Environmental Studies, Emergency Management, Religious Studies, Social Justice, Women’s & Gender Studies, Pre-Health, Pre-Law, and others. These areas of study are intentionally designed to explore new ways of looking at these issues across traditional academic departments and majors. These programs place an emphasis on hands-on opportunities for research, field experience, and internships. Interdisciplinary programs can be chosen as majors, second majors, or added as specialized minors to compliment other majors.
