Journalism students take 51 hours of credit from Journalism and Strategic Media.

Students are strongly encouraged to use elective hours to obtain a minor. Minors should coordinate with the student’s career goals and should advance their understanding of a reporting area. Students should consult with their academic adviser when selecting a minor.
