Learning Outcomes:

  1. The student will be able to apply mathematics and engineering principles to solve basic engineering problems in biomedical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
  2. The student will be able to describe what biomedical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers do.
  3. The student will be able to design a basic engineering project.
  4. The student will be able to use basic engineering tools appropriate to the discipline.
  5. The student will be able to work in an engineering team.
  6. The student will be able to communicate his project through a presentation.

Certificate in Pathway to Engineering and Technology


The certificate is intended to introduce the different disciplines in the Herff College of Engineering and to provide a pathway to pursue studies in engineering and technology.
