Requirements

Completion of 18 semester hours, consisting of 6 hours from among the following courses (2 courses):

• ANTH 1200 - Cultural Anthropology **
• ESCI 1301 - Survey of World Regions
• INTL 1101 - Introduction to International Studies **
• UNHP 1101 - Humanities/Global Challenge
• UNHP 1102 - Social Scien/Global Challenge
• POLS 1301 - Intro to Comparative Politics **
• POLS 1501 - International Relations**

• In addition to the above hours, one upper division course in a modern foreign language must be completed

• and

• Four upper division courses that count towards the International Studies major  

  Note: A maximum of six hours from either study abroad or internship credits may be used towards fulfilling the requirements of the IS minor (subject to approval by the IS director)
