PHYS 2110 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers I Credit Hours: (3) Description: Principles of mechanics using methods of calculus; kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, work, kinetic and potential energies, momentum and collisions, rotational motion, and fluid mechanics. NOTE: For first-time enrollees, PHYS 2111 must be taken concurrently. Three lecture hours per week. COREQUISITE: MATH 1910 or MATH 1421 .
