TECH 4236 - AutoID Solutions

Credit Hours: (3)
Description: A study of methods and systems used to automatically identify objects. Various forms of keyless data entry will be studied including; bar coding, radio frequency identification, voice data entry, touch memory. Experiences will emphasize RFID and bar coding technology, including the challenges experienced by manufacturing and the biomedical industry.  Two lecture hours, Three laboratory hours per week. PREREQUISITE: No prerequisites.
