Description: The second of two experiential classes focusing on record company operations as they relate to key industry elements including record label departments, A&R, CD distribution/manufacturing, new media, artist relations, contracts, and booking shows; real-world application utilizing the University’s High Water record label and Music River Publishing company. Students will apply the artist life cycle process from distribution/promotion through touring.
