Accelerated B.B.A./M.S. in Finance with a major in finance or a finance major with a concentration in Real Estate
This program allows outstanding undergraduates to begin taking graduate courses during their senior year. These students demonstrate that they seek to challenge themselves, which makes them stand out to graduate schools and prospective employers.
In this program students can complete a B.B.A. degree and AT THE SAME TIME complete graduate-level courses that can count toward a M.S. Up to12 hours of graduate course work may be applied to BOTH the undergraduate and graduate programs and this double counting is only available in ABM programs.
Students are encouraged to contact both the undergraduate and graduate academic coordinators early so that they can begin to plan their course of study. To apply, students must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and submit two reference letters and a copy of their transcript to the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate. Each applicant must complete an interview with the graduate academic coordinator in finance, insurance and real estate.
Students must also apply to the Graduate School for the accelerated B.B.A./M.S. program, which allows them to take graduate courses in finance, insurance and real estate.
Continuation in the program beyond the B.B.A. in NOT required. Students wishing to continue past the B.B.A. must apply for full admission into the Graduate School and into the Finance, Insurance and Real Estate Department’s M.S. program.
Any graduate coursework will not apply to the undergraduate GPA.
