Integrative Studies, Secondary Math Concentration (B.S.Ed.)

Program objectives for a B.S.Ed. in Integrative Studies are: (a) to understand how learning occurs, how students construct knowledge and acquire skills, and knows how to provided learning opportunities that support their intellectual, social, and personal development; (b) to adapt instructional techniques to youth of diverse cultural and language backgrounds and to students who have exceptional learning needs.

Integrative Studies/Secondary Math Concentration: Program objectives for a B.S.Ed. in Integrative Studies/Secondary Math are: (a) to understand how learning occurs, how students construct knowledge and acquire skills, and knows how to provided learning opportunities that support their intellectual, social, and personal development; (b) preparing, through intensive clinical experiences, highly qualified math teachers grades 6-12.

Secondary Math (grades 6-12)


The purpose of the Secondary Math Concentration is to prepare classroom teachers for the teaching of mathematics in grades 6-12.
